I took this beautiful picture of the Temple as part of my Landscape Photography Project. I loved how it turned out with the temple against the beautiful sunset in the sky. It is a little dark, though, and the sky is overexposed. So to edit, I did a number of things to make it a more appealing image.
First of all, I straightened it and cropped out the road. This made the Temple upright and prominent in my image. Then I went to correcting the colors and shadows. I lowered the exposure, and raised the shadows and blacks. I lowered highlights and whites. Then I went to color editing, and raised the saturation and vibrancy of the whole image, and then of specific colors in the sunset. I also raised the temperature of the whole image.
After I completed the edits, I used McKenna Pro software to order a metallic 16×24 print mounted on Styrene.
